FAQs

How do I wash EquiFit, Inc. T-Sport Wrap™ & TailWrap™ without damaging them?

Rinse product in warm water after use. Gently squeeze out excess water. Do not allow foam side to adhere to itself. Lay flat, foam side up, to dry. When needed, hand wash with a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly after washing.

NOTE: DO NOT MACHINE WASH OR DRY. DO NOT WRING OUT, TWIST OR BUNCH TOGETHER. THIS WILL DAMAGE YOUR PRODUCT. DO NOT ALLOW FOAM SIDE TO ADHERE TO ITSELF.

The Unique EquiFit, Inc. T-Boot Shape:

Most boots today are injection (or machine) molded with neoprene liners. By contrast, each T-Boot is hand-molded and lined with the highest quality T-Foam. Since the T-Foam insert actually does the contouring, T-Boots do not need the extreme contour of molded parts on other boots.

Fitting EquiFit, Inc. T-Boots:

T-Boots fit differently than standard neoprene horse boots.

Reacting to body heat and pressure, T-Foam™ flows and molds to fit the exact anatomy of any horse’s legs, creating a custom fit boot, every time it’s worn. Contrary to traditional boots that are worn loosely, T-Boots must have a snug fit. This may make it seem like the boots are “too small,” but that is not the case. If you own a pair of T-Boots that are slipping or there is a space between the liner and the horse’s ankle, don’t hesitate to tighten them up to maintain proper fit and ensure that they are working properly.

EquiFit, Inc. T-Boot Fitting Tips

Overall Fit

▪                Unlike standard neoprene boots, T-Boots are designed to fit snugly.

▪                Reacting to body heat and pressure, T-Foam softens and molds to fit the exact anatomy of any horse’s legs, creating a custom fit boot, every time it’s worn.

Elastic Straps & Closure Adjustability

▪                For optimum elastic stretch when applying T-Boots, pull the elastic strap out and away from the leg before crossing it over the cannon bone.

Temperature and Boot Fit

▪                T-Foam is temperature-sensitive and in cold conditions T-Foam liners may lose pliability.

▪                If this occurs, warm liners indoors or by using body heat before applying to the leg.

▪                As the T-Foam warms, it will soften - after a few minutes, check the T-Boots and re-adjust fit as needed.
