Shipping & Returns



Standard Delivery


We use Royal mail First Class Delivery


All items are weighed and their weight is displayed on their corresponding item page. The total weight of you delivery is calculated by the system and priced accordingly. You only pay for what you order.


All items should be received within three working days (maximum).



Special delivery


Before 9.00am


If you need something quickly, you can choose Royal Mail Special Delivery 9.00am which guarantees delivery before 9.00am next day (Orders much be placed before 5.00pm).

What items can I return/exchange?


We are happy to replace, refund or exchange any item that you are not completely happy with providing they are returned to us within 10 days of receipt and in a saleable condition. The easiest method of return is via your post office. 


We aim to process all returns in 2 working days from receipt, but please allow up to 14 days for exchange/refund. 


Please complete the returns slip included in your delivery clearly stating which item(s) you are returning and the action you would like us to take. If you would like a refund, the amount paid will go back onto your original payment card. If you request an exchange please indicate which size you require or alternatively, if you are choosing a different item, please advise the product code and size required.


Please note if the exchange item is cheaper in price then we will automatically refund the difference, however if the item is more expensive then we will contact you for payment authorisation. 


If you have mislaid your delivery note simply enclose a covering letter with your name and full address together with your requirements. 

Performance Rider does not have a free collection service for returns; therefore take your parcel to the post office and request the standard delivery service attaching the address label we have provided to the front of your parcel. Please ensure that you have paid the correct postage for the weight of the parcel. We would also advise you to go for the extra compensation option if the value of your return is over £36 – this will ensure you are adequately covered in the unlikely event of your returned goods going missing. 


We will happily refund the cost of your postage if the item you are returning is faulty or was incorrectly sent. Performance Rider cannot be held responsible for any returns lost in the post, therefore please keep your receipt as proof of postage.

What happens if I wish to return an item later than 10 days of receipt? 


This does not affect your statutory rights. In some cases we may be able to make an exception, please call our customer services team on 01483 346011

We do however recommend that you return items in the advised 10 days.



Will I get back the original postage and packing charges that I paid if I cancel my order?


If you are in the European Union and you cancel your order within seven days after the day you get your goods, and you cancel the whole order, we will refund the standard postage and packing costs you paid as part of that order (if any), in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations. If you paid for premium or express delivery, we will only refund the cost of standard delivery. You will have to pay the costs of sending the order back to us. We will not refund any postage and packing charges if you cancel after the seven days allowed under the Distance Selling Regulations or if you only cancel part of your order (although you still have three months to return your goods and receive a refund for the cost of the goods).
